The World Urban Forum (WUF) is the world's premier conference on cities and the problems they face in a world where half of humanity is urbanized.
The World Urban Forum was established by the United Nations to examine one of the most pressing issues facing the world today: rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies and policies.
The 3rd session of WUF was held in Vancouver, Canada on June 19-23, 2006 and hosted by the Government of Canada.
